Terms & Conditions
Last updated: September 2026
These terms apply to your use of the ABBHART website and to purchases made through it. By placing an order with ABBHART, you agree to these terms.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
About ABBHART
ABBHART is the trading name used by artist Abbie Hart for the sale of original artwork, fine art prints, cards, gifts and commissioned artwork.
For questions about these terms or an order, please contact:
Website Use
The ABBHART website is provided for personal, non-commercial use.
You may browse the website, purchase products and share links to ABBHART pages. You may not copy, download, reproduce, distribute, commercially exploit or otherwise use website content or Abbie Hart's artwork without prior written permission.
We aim to keep the information on the website accurate and up to date but may occasionally need to change products, prices, availability, descriptions or other website content.
Products & Artwork
ABBHART offers products which may include original artwork, fine art prints, greeting cards, Christmas cards and other products featuring Abbie Hart's artwork.
We make every effort to display artwork and products accurately. However, colours can appear slightly different depending on your screen, device and settings.
The nature of art and fine-art reproduction also means there may be very slight variations between the appearance of an original artwork and a printed reproduction.
Product dimensions and descriptions will be provided as accurately as reasonably possible.
Orders
When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement or confirmation using the contact information supplied during checkout.
An order may occasionally be declined or cancelled where, for example, a product is unavailable, there has been an obvious pricing or description error, payment cannot be authorised, or we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.
If payment has already been taken for an order we cannot fulfil, the relevant amount will be refunded.
Prices & Payment
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (£).
The price displayed at checkout is the price payable for your order, together with any applicable delivery charges clearly shown before you complete your purchase.
Where a product is advertised with FREE UK DELIVERY, no separate standard UK delivery charge will be added for that product.
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.
Payments are processed through our secure payment provider. ABBHART does not store your full debit or credit card details.
Delivery
Orders will be delivered to the address provided during checkout.
Some ABBHART products, particularly fine art prints, may be produced or prepared to order. Any relevant production or estimated delivery information will be displayed where appropriate.
Please ensure that your delivery details are correct before completing your order.
Full information can be found on our Delivery & Returns page.
Returns & Cancellations
For standard, non-personalised goods purchased online, you normally have the right to change your mind and notify us that you wish to cancel within 14 days of receiving your order.
Once you have notified us, goods should be returned within a further 14 days.
Unless an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or we have agreed otherwise, you are responsible for the cost of returning unwanted goods.
Returned products should be handled with reasonable care and returned in their original condition wherever possible.
Please see our Delivery & Returns page for full details.
Bespoke & Personalised Artwork
Artwork or products created specifically to your requirements, including bespoke commissions and genuinely personalised or made-to-specification pieces, cannot normally be cancelled or returned simply because you change your mind.
This does not affect your statutory rights where an item is faulty, damaged, not as described or where other consumer rights apply.
Separate Commission Terms apply to commissioned artwork and should be read before requesting or confirming a commission.
Faulty or Damaged Products
We take great care in producing and packaging ABBHART products.
If something arrives damaged, faulty, incorrect or not as described, please contact us at:
Please provide your order details and photographs where appropriate so that we can investigate and resolve the issue.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
Copyright & Intellectual Property
All original artwork, images, illustrations, photographs of artwork, designs and other creative content by Abbie Hart remain protected by copyright.
© Abbie Hart. All rights reserved.
Purchasing an original artwork, print, card, gift or commissioned piece does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights to the purchaser.
Unless expressly agreed in writing, you may not:
- Copy or reproduce Abbie Hart's artwork
- Download or extract artwork images for reuse
- Create prints or other reproductions
- Use the artwork commercially
- Use the artwork on products or merchandise
- Alter the artwork to create derivative commercial products
- Sell or distribute reproductions
- Use ABBHART artwork or images to train, develop or provide input to artificial intelligence or machine-learning systems
You may, of course, resell a physical original artwork or print that you legally own, but this does not transfer or grant copyright or reproduction rights.
Permission for licensing, publication or commercial use must be obtained from ABBHART in writing.
Images on the Website
Images displayed on this website are provided so that visitors can view and appreciate Abbie Hart's work and make informed purchasing decisions.
Technical measures may be used to discourage unauthorised downloading or copying of artwork.
Attempting to circumvent these protections does not grant permission to use the underlying artwork.
Commissions
Commissioned artwork is subject to ABBHART's separate Commission Terms, including provisions relating to deposits, reference photographs, artistic interpretation, payment, copyright and cancellation.
Where there is any conflict between these general Terms and the Commission Terms in relation to a commissioned artwork, the specific Commission Terms will apply to that commission.
Trade & Wholesale
Retailers interested in stocking ABBHART products may apply for a trade account or make a wholesale enquiry through the website.
Submitting a trade enquiry does not guarantee approval as an ABBHART stockist.
Separate prices, minimum quantities, payment arrangements and trade terms may apply to wholesale purchases and will be provided to approved stockists where appropriate.
Third-Party Services
The website may use trusted third-party providers for services such as payment processing, website hosting, email communications and delivery.
Where you follow a link to a third-party website, that website will operate under its own terms and privacy policies.
Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with the ABBHART Privacy Policy.
Please read the Privacy Policy for information about the personal information we collect, how it is used and your rights.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability that cannot legally be excluded under UK consumer law.
ABBHART is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was entered into or for business losses arising from purchases made by consumers for personal use.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time as ABBHART develops or where legal, operational or regulatory requirements change.
The latest version will always be published on this page.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you will retain any rights you have under applicable consumer law to bring proceedings in the courts available to you.
